Industry Participation

Jean-Robert Hountomey is a member of the ICANN's Address Council, where he represents AFRINIC.[2]He served his first term from 2005-2008, and began serving his second term in April, 2009; it is scheduled to run through December, 2011.[3] He was selected for the ICANN Fellowships program at ICANN San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has also participated in ICANN's Brussels meeting.[4]

In March 2010, Jean participated in IETF 77.[5]. He is also a Member of the African Internet Exchange Task Force and has participated in their technical workshops in the Ivory Coast.[6] and Togo[7]
