Mandla is the founder of Pygma Consulting, an advisory firm dealing with policy, regulation, strategy and training, particularly in information and communication technology, She creates spaces for the ICT ecosystem to thrive and ultimately be used for socioeconomic development.
Career History
Mandla started her career in the telecommunications sector as an Advisor to Council at the South African Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (SATRA, now Independent Communications Authority of South Africa) and later became a Senior Manager at ICASA responsible for competition policy, research and economic & financial analysis in 2001. Mandla joined mobile operator Cell C (Pty) Ltd in 2004 where she was Senior Manager: Regulatory Affairs. She then left to start a consulting firm, Pygma Consulting, specializing in ICT policy and regulation.[1]
