Tracy Hackshaw has been involved in Trinidad & Tobago's National Information & Communication Technology (ICT) program since 2005, and is currently the Deputy National Chief Information Officer at the Ministry of Science and Technology.[1] Previous postions include Chief Solution Architect, where his responsibilities include ensuring that Government's ICT infrastructure, policies and standards are in place to meet the country's National ICT agenda.[2]
Tracy was notably involved in the country's deployment of multi-channel service delivery strategies - ttconnect.[3]
He also plays a role as Chief Futurist/Lead Catalyst at Enterprise Technology Consulting Services.[4]

Mr. Hackshaw is the Vice Chair of ISOC's Trinidad & Tobago chapter. Tracy Hackshaw was Trinidad & Tobago's ISOC Ambassador to the IGF in 2009, 2010, & 2012.[5] He participated in the 2011 IGF in Nairobi as a DiploFoundation Emerging Leader for the Digital World. Tracy has been a panelist on IGF workshops discussing the success and failures of recent Internet Governance.[6] Tracy is involved, in a technical advisory capacity with the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago's representation to the ICANN Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) since 2010 and was elected as GAC Vice-Chair at the Toronto meeting in October 2012.[7]
Tracy is the Chair-Elect of the NomCom and has been a Fellow at multiple ICANN Meetings, such as Sydney, Seoul, Cartagena, and Prague.[8]
He is a graduate of the DiploFoundation's Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme in 2008 and is now a member of the IGCBP faculty.[9]

Mr. Hackshaw previously worked at a large Caribbean conglomerate as a Regional Team Leader responsible for e-Business projects.
He has studied with the University West Indies (undergraduate), and with the University of London (postgraduate). In 2008. Tracy completed multiple phases of the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme with the DiploFoundation.[10]
Tracy has emphatically stated that he is "Trini to the bone."[11]
