1net or /1net is an open collaborative initiative to provide a platform for discussion on topics surrounding Internet Governance. The 1net project was started after a group of organizations, including ICANN, IANA, ISOC, and W3C came together for a meeting in October 2013 and released what came to be known as the Montevideo Statement. The statement made a number of high-level points regarding Internet technical operations, and 1net began as an open forum to further discuss these issues.
