Marcelo Teléz heads CETIC-AJB, which is an Argentinean Internet users organization. The organization is an At-Large Structure via participation through LACRALO.[1][2] He has also been involved with the Latinamerican Internet Users Federation (FLUI) since 2008.

Prof. Teléz is a researcher, teacher, and consultant. He has been a consultant for the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and has served in the national Ministry of Science and Technology and later at the Ministry of Communications, where he worked on the National Program for the Information Society.

Marcelo Teléz is a founding member of ASIAR (Argentina Association of Information Security), and the Co-founder and current Director of Research and Development for Protweb. He has worked on protecting children on the Internet, in his work in Argentina and the region, and has also participated in international efforts and training sessions aimed at ending online crimes against children.[3]

He was involved in organizing and speaking at events for the International Secure Internet Day (SID) in Argentina (February 7, 2012).[4]
