Marilia Hirano is the Director of IANA Strategic Programs for ICANN. She began her career at ICANN as the Continuous Improvement Manager in October 2014.[1][2]

Prior to that, she worked for close to two years as an Operations Manager for International SOS. She has extensive experience in client relationship management and direct customer service with large brands.[1]

ICANN 51 in Los Angeles was her first ICANN conference. One of her proudest life achievements is helping to organize and coordinate the FIFA World Cup Operations.[2]
