Emily Taylor is an Independent Consultant from the United Kingdom and the former Director of Legal and Policy, and Company Secretary at Nominet, the .uk domain names registrar company. [1] She is currently serving as the Non-executive director at Oxford Information Labs Ltd. Emily is also a Member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group for the UN Internet Governance Forum.

At Nominet her department was responsible for the review of Nominet’s Dispute Resolution Service which was started in September 2001. In addition to the DRS, the department also provided legal advice for Nominet’s other service departments and was responsible for the drafting of contracts such as Nominet’s Terms and Conditions and the Tag Holder Agreement. In 2009, she left Nominet for undisclosed reasons.[2]

In 2005, Emily was elected as a non-executive director of CENTR.[3]

Emily Taylor has a B.A. from the University of Cambridge, an L.P.C. from College of Law, London and an M.B.A from Open University.
