Registration directly under .tz is a premium domain name, and it is intended for registered business companies or entities.
The following names and/or uses for .tz have grounds for cancellation:
- it is identical or confusingly similar to a name whose right is recognised or established by national laws;
- it has been registered by a holder who has no rights or legitimate interest on it;
- it was registered primarily for the purpose of being sold to the person whose right is legally recognised or established in Tanzania;
- it has been registered for the purpose of preventing its real holder, who is legally recognized or established in Tanzania from reflecting that domain name in a corresponding domain name;
