Paul Andersen's Career
Paul is experienced in the Internet governance industry and in the Internet Service Provider area.[2] His company, Egate Networks, is an internet hosting and connectivity provider that offers a wide variety of services from web application development to domain name registration services and collocated web hosting. Egate is also the owner of egateDOMAINS, one of Canada's largest domain name registrars and the first provider in Toronto to offer native IPv6 services. [3]
Mr. Andersen has been a member of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority since 2000, a member of American Registry for Internet's Board of Trustees since 2010, and is also a member of ICANN. He is a previous Chair of the Board of Directors of Toronto Internet Exchange, which is the largest open peering Internet exchange in Canada.[4]
Education
Paul Andersen holds a BA in Computer Engineering from University of Toronto and is a licensed member of Professional Engineers Ontario.[5]
