From 2005-2008, he was the Head of International ICT Policy at Department for Business.

He was a speaker at the EuroDIG 2009[3] a panelist at 9th Meeting of the ICANN Studienkreis[4] and at “International Debate: ICANN, Whois, and the New MoU”[5] Mr. Boyle has been the UK Representative at GAC.[6]
