Daniel Monastersky is a practising lawyer in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a columnist and a collaborator in the writing of press articles, on-line and on paper, in subjects related to the law of new technologies and the protection of personal data. He was also instrumental in the drafting of a bill to regulate online Identity Theft in Argentina. From 1996 to 2000 he was Executive Producer of radio and television programs dedicated to scientific journalism in Argentina. [1]

In the last year Daniel Monastersky has been involved in various social and online network development projects, with his specialties being E-Commerce, Data Protection, IT Consultancy, Tech-law, Social Networks and Online Communities.
He is also:
- Professor of Computer Law at the Universidad de Belgrano
- A Partner in Argentina Hispasec Systems, an organization specializing in IT security systems.
- Rhe IIISI LACRALO Representative at (Latam & Caribbean), an organization of Internet users participating in the development of ICANN policy.
- Director of Stolen Identity Magazine
- CEO & Founder of identidadrobada.com, which is a consultancy in areas relating to online privacy, cyber-crime, data protection and other e-commerce problems.
- He also participates in various projects for Public Organizations, and is an Attorney at Law specializing in IT and Privacy Law[2]
