Alexander Schubert (born September 1965) was the first person to propose the idea of .gay TLD to ICANN in June 2009. [1]

  • Though Alexander had been in the domain name industry since 1997, he become a full time domain consultant in the year 2000
  • He and Dirk Krischenowski initiated the campaign of launching .berlin in 2005. [3]
