Eduardo Santoyo is the Corporate Vice President[1] and ccTLD manager at .co Internet S.A.S.[2]

ICANN Participation[edit | edit source]

Mr. Santoyo has been a long-time participant at ICANN. He has been a general attendee since 2000, and also a founding member of the ccNSO, and a part of the ALAC.[3] He became a founding member of the ccNSO when he was working as the Peruvian ccTLD manager.[4] Staying informed of developments at ICANN and LACTLD is an important part of his continued responsibilities.[5] Eduardo is also the .co Internet representative to IANA.[6]

Eduardo Santoyo was a panelist in a LACTLD meeting session specifically addressing ccTLDs in 2010, the particular session was "Selling Domain Names under ccTLDs".[7]

Career History[edit | edit source]

From 2000 to 2007, Eduardo worked as the manager of the Peruvian ccTLD, .pe, at the Peruvian Scientific Network.[8] He was involved in the creation and implementation of that ccTLD and its policies.[9] He has also worked as a consultant.

Education[edit | edit source]

Mr. Santoyo has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Sabana in Colombia, and an MBA from Adolfo Ibañez University in Chile and INCAE in Costa Rica.[10]
