David L. Brown is the President of Register.com.[1] Mr Brown was initially the President and CEO of Web.com, which subsequently acquired Register.com for $135 million, in 2010.[2]
David continues to serve as Chairman, President, and CEO of Web.com. He has been serving as its President since 1999, and as its CEO since 2000. Mr. Brown's electronic services company, Atlantic Teleservices, which he founded in 1997, was acquired by Website Pros in 1999; Website Pros eventually changed their name to Web.com.[3]
Career History
David has served in executive positions at numerous financial institutions, including: Carlyle International, Riggs National Bank, Florida National Bank and Barnett Bank. David Brown received his B.A. from Harvard.[4]
