Christian Hess Araya is a Judge in Judiciary of Costa Rica. He is the LACRALO Representative for Costa Rica.[1] He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Study and Research Group Academic Law, Economics and Business in the Information Society (AGEIA-DENSI).[2]
Prior to becoming a judge, he was a Lawyer of the Judiciary at the Constitutional Chamber of Costa Rica
He was a panelist at ICANN’s NCUC Meeting on Whois, the New MoU, and Right to Privacy.[3] Mr. Hess participated in the First Official World Conference Of Computer Law.[4]
He attended ICANN Brazil[5] and was a speaker at Asociación Costarricense de Derecho Informático.[6] He also contributed to the Central America Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA) and its impact on Information Technology (IT) based businesses.[7]
Education
Christian holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and a B.A in Law, both from the University of Cost Rica.[8]
