History

Pierre-Georges Roy and Maurice Watkins established Milbank Roy & Co. in 2005 as a general investment banking boutique. The company became successful and expanded internationally. In 2009, Drew Meyers joined the company and changed its name to GroupArgent which was coined from the French word 'argent' which means silver or money. The company added Private Equity Investing to its business offerings as well as regional partners in New England and Latin America.[2]
