Gihan Dias is a the head of Faculty of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Moratuwa.[1][2] He has been working at the University of Moratuwa sine 1985.[3] He is currently the Director of the Centre on Localised Applications at the University of Moratuwa.
Prof. Dias is also a Domain Registrar and CEO at .LK Domain Registry. He is a member of the IETF IDNA Working Group and the Unicode Consortium. Prof. Dias is an advisor to TechCERT, which is the first computer security readiness team in Sri Lanka[4]
