Mailclub is a French registrar, based in Marseille and Paris, specialised in corporate domain name registration. We have been serving our corporate and SME customers since 1997.
History
Founded by Charles Tiné in 1997, as a mail forwarding company, Mailclub has since become an identity advisor for those companies wanting to secure their online identity.
Frederic Guillemaut joined the company (actually only on person) in 1998 and has worked on the processes used to develop this 26 people company, dedicated to customer services, in a variety of products ranging from hosting to domain names.
In 2007, Mailclub launched domaine.asia, one of the first .asia domaines.
Mailclub is also a registrar in Gambia, which is rare for a foreign company !
Mailclub registrers names all over the world, but still follow some ethical rules on Working laws, Recycling and energy saving.
Accreditations
Mailclub was accredited by AFNIC in 1999; by ICANN in 2006; The company is also accredited with a large number of international registries.[2]
Services
Mailclub is a French registrar, specialised in corporate domain name registration. Its own technical infrastructure allows Mailclub to offer a wide range of services around dns, hosting, domaine names and SSL certificates.
Mailclub also operates Mailclub.info, [3], a webmagazine on the domain industry read by more than 7500 people. The company also organises domain events (Les Rencontres Internationales des Noms de Domaine) [4], allowing people from the IP community to meet domainers and talk about the industry.
