FLUI is the spokesperson organization for the Internet users of Latin America. The federation works for the growth and development of ICT in Latin American countries and handles the issues concerning security, domain names and proper use of internet.[1] It aims to provide better opportunities to everyone in the continent by the easy access to communication technologies. Educating people with the poor knowledge of internet and trying to overcome the lack of facilities for them is of special interest to FLUI.[2]

FLUI members strongly appreciate Web Awards given on Internet Day yearly. These awards are for those who are thought to have performed best in the spread and proper use of the internet technologies.[3]
