She was the Technical Consultant at International Telecommunication Union for 9 months in 2010. At Cizmic Consulting Incorporated, she was the Technical Consultant and Project Manager for 3 years. In this position, her duties included project management as required for certain projects. Career History

She was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. Right after he graduation, she came back to Jamaica and has since done a lot of work in the Development of ICT in Jamaica and Caribbean region. She was the Technical Consultant at International Telecommunication Union for 9 months in 2010. At Cizmic Consulting Incorporated, she was the Technical Consultant and Project Manager for 3 years. In this position, her duties included project management as required for certain projects. She has also worked as a research analyst at the OTF group and as a teacher at the Ardenne High School.[4]

Education

She holds a Dual Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Technology and Policy from MIT. She graduated with a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from the same university. She was inducted into Sigma Xi Research Society.[5] Before she completed her MSc, she worked as an intern at the International Telecommunications Union which is the UN agency responsible for Communication Technologies.[6]

Fun Fact

Ms. Ayanna is a dancer and avid fitness enthusiast. Since 1972, she was the first black woman to have graduated from MIT with Master's in Aerospace Engineering. She enjoys interacting with new cultures and traveling the globe.[7]
