Aminata Sy is the President of the Senegalese Next Generation Team, which is an extension of the Internet Society's Senegal Chapter and a joint project with the DiploFoundation. She has led the team since 2009, which brings together a group of young people to advocate the use of the Internet and IT solutions by fellow Senegalese youth and students.[1] She is also the head of Multimedia Center at the Polytechnic School in Dakar.[2] Aminata Sy has an Computer Science Engineering background.

Ms. Sy attended ICANN Senegal.[3]
