Jay Westerdal is an entrepreneur and the founder of Name Intelligence[1], Open Caller ID, DotMovie and Credit Savers. He is also a partner at Founders-Coop. He has been a participant at ICANN.[2]
He is also the founder of DomainTools.com.[3]
Education
In 2000 Jay completed his undergraduate in Computer Science from the Central Washington University.[4]
Career History
- His career started with a job as a Software Engineer at Virtual Services LLC. He worked there from 1997-1998.
- From 1998-2001, he worked as Senior Software Architect at Lightrealm and Interland/Vservers.
- He worked at AboutUs.org from 2005-2007 as a CTO, a company which he co-founded with Ray King.[5]
- Starting in 2001 he worked at Name Intelligence, Inc. for 7 years as the CEO.[6]
- He founded Spry Hosting and worked there as the CEO from 2001-2008.
- He was a participant at ICANN since 2002-2008.
- He worked as the Chief Product Officer at Thought Convergence from 2008-2009.[7]
