Much of Joost Zuurbier's background involves work in carpentry, architecture, and draft work. His artistic portfolio includes work with Smith Construction Company in Belgium, Carve Engineering of Amsterdam, the School of the Arts Utrecht; and work as an urban artist for the Municipality of Velsen.
