Peter Cihon is a graduate student at the University of Cambridge. He studies Computer Science and an MPhil in Technology Policy. His research focuses on Internet access development initiatives and the legitimacy of Internet policy structures.

Career History[edit | edit source]

Peter worked as Google Policy Fellow at LIRNEasia, on user-focused research of zero-rated promotions in Myanmar. Previous, he interned with the ACLU Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the US Department of Justice, and with Human Rights NGO EMC in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia.

Peter attended his first meeting at ICANN58 as a member of the NextGen program.
