Antonio Correia is a graduate of Engineering at Undiknas University in Bali, Indonesia. He has 15 years of experience in telecommunications and his aim is to liberalize the telecommunication sector in Timor-leste. He was the Chief of Staff for the Minister of Telecommunications and Infrastructure for 10 years. He supports the Government by looking after the policies and appointed by the Council of Ministers of the First Chairman of the National Telecommunication Authority.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation

Participated in GAC meetings during ICANN 55 in Marrakech, Morocco, ICANN 56 in Helsinki in Finland and ICANN 59 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Governmental Advisory Committee. Considers and provides advice on the activities of ICANN as they relate to concerns of governments, particularly matters where there may be an interaction between ICANN's policies and various laws and international agreements or where they may affect public policy issues (ICANN Bylaws).
