Nah holds a Bachelor's degree of Commerce in Information systems and has completed several post graduate papers.

Between 1990 and 1999, she was a tutor and a course coordinator at the university of Auckland. After which she joined Quicksilver and worked there for 6 years in several positions. In 1994 - 1995 she lead a group of NZ netizens, who became known as the Network Society of NZ ([[NetSocNZ]]) in a campaign against the Technology and Crimes Reform Bill.
She has been an Administrator at [[Undernet]]. She was one of the foundation members of [[ISOCNZ]]. In 2000, she was a member of the ISOCNZ 0867 working group.

Lin Nah is an Internet Professional. She completed her education from the University of Auckland and then taught at the University of Auckland from 1989-1999. From 2000-2006 she worked as a Manager at Mercury Telecommunications Ltd.[1]
