Oumarou Mounpoubeyi is an ITIL- and Prince2-certified IT Engineer at Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL[1] and the Chief of its Multimedia Department. CAMTEL is run by the national government, and Mounpoubeyi has been working there since June 2003.[2][3]

He attended ICANN 42 in Senegal and ICANN 47 in Durban.[4]

Mounpoubeyi was elected to the first Executive Council of Cameroon's ISOC Chapter, and subsequently appointed to the position of 2nd Vice President. The chapter had its Constitutive General Assembly in May, 2011.[5]
