Ondrej Filip has been the Chairman of DNS-OARC (Domain Name System Operations Analysis and Research Center) since December 2012, as well as the CEO of CZ.NIC since 2003. He is also a Developer of BIRD Internet Routing Daemon and a Board Member of the European Internet Exchange Association.[1]

Filip is involved in the IGF through its Multistakeholder Advisory Group and is also a Board Member for nix.cz. His ICANN-related experience includes being amember of SSAC from 2010 to 2012, as well as ccNSO Councilour from 2005 to 2011.[1]

Filip is a very regular attendee of ICANN meetings; ICANN 47 in Durban was his 25th meeting, and he was involved in hosting ICANN 44 in Prague.[2]
