Paul Muchene is a start-up entrepreneur and network engineer cum systems administrator with almost a decade of experience in the computing industry. He is currently Network Lead at iHub Nairobi, where he helps with planning and organizing Internet infrastructure and network resources for Nairobi's tech community, among other things. He is also the Technical Lead at Twenty Four Interactive, or 24i.[1][2]

Though Muchene has attended multiple ICANN meetings, ICANN 47 marked his first time attending as an ICANN Fellow. He is particularly interested in DNSSEC and IPv6.[1] He is a three-time recipient Internet Society's fellowships to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).[1]

In 2012, Muchene was involved with ICANN as a member of the Kenya chapter of ISOC. He was also involved with ISOC in 2010 as a global member.[2]
