Excerpted from Response to Question 18: "Creating a buzz around a brand, product or service is the goal of advertising and marketing professionals worldwide. Products having buzz are products everyone is talking about. News and information sharing are also central to the new social Internet. Users share news around noteworthy developments and events. When news becomes worthy of sharing with friends, people say there is a ʺbuzzʺ around it. .buzz is intended to provide a label for news and information sharing.

The mission and purpose of DotStrategyʹs .buzz gTLD is to be family-friendly registration space for registrants seeking to label their Internet-based content as noteworthy and as to whatʹs happening right now.
