.construction is a proposed new TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. It was originally applied for by both Minardos Group and Donuts, though Donuts prevailed in an August 2013 auction for the string, held by Innovative Auctions. The total amount was not disclosed though the 8 total auctions that were cumulatively valued at $9.65 million.[1]
Contract Signed
On 16 September 2013, Donuts received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .construction after passing the Initial Evaluation.[2]
