Donggi Augustine Lee is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Technology Management and Computer Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in South Korea. Having grown up with the Internet, he has a strong interest in Internet and Internet governance matters.

Lee is familiar with ICANN and Internet governance work, having started his ICANN journey at ICANN49 as a NextGen@ICANN participant. He was also a fellow at the Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) last year, a five-day capacity building program aimed at familiarizing youths with Internet governance. According to Lee, the academy was “a great stepping stone” for youths to get involved in Internet governance work.

Following APIGA, Lee attended ICANN58 in Copenhagen, bolstering the voices of the youths in the ICANN discussions at the meeting. He is also in the midst of joining the Asian, Australasian and Pacific Islands Regional At-Large Organization (APRALO), where he hopes to encourage more Internet users to participate in ICANN and propose solutions to make the Internet better.
