Lucy Ventures, LLC- The company is located in New York and its main objective in applying for the TLD is to a trusted, hierarchical, and intuitive online marketplace for gift-related products, services, and information. The company plans to sell .gifts domain names through ICANN accredited registrars and to reserve and auction premium domain names. Afilias will provide its back-end registry services.[2]

Private Auction[edit | edit source]

In June 2014, the contention set was resolved via a private auction that Donuts won for an undisclosed amount. The other applicant withdrew their application following the result of the auction.[3]
