Alan Levin is an internet activist, the CEO at Vanilla ISP, and the Director and co-founder at Future Perfect Corporation, based in Cape Town, South Africa. He is currently Chairman of ISOC's South African chapter, and held that position once before from 2004-2007; he was also an Associate Chairperson of ICANN's NomCom from 2008-2009.[1]
