Dan Halloran is ICANN's Deputy General Counsel. He works with John Jeffrey on all ICANN-related legal matters. His area of professional area of interest is gTLD registrar and registry matters.[1][2]
Education
Dan is a graduate of Loyola Law School (Los Angeles) and the University of Chicago College, He has studied at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma of México.[3]Dan speaks and writes Spanish fluently, is familiar with Portuguese and has studied Mandarin Chinese.
Career History
Halloran is one of the longest-serving employees at ICANN. He joined the organization in May 2000. At ICANN he has worked at several posts including Registrar Liaison amd Chief Registrar Liaison. He was also the corporation's Acting Secretary.[4]
