Neil Duncan Dundas is a Director and Policy and Legal Advisor for UniForum SA, the organization responsible for the South African domain name registry, .co.za.[1] He is also a member of Conogon Engineering, a director for Domain Name Services Ltd., and a private consultant.[2]
Through his work with Domain Name Services Ltd., Mr. Dundas is a founding member of ARC, the African Registry Consortium, and is working with the organization's application for the delegation of the new gTLD, .africa.[3]
Career History
Neil Dundas has participated in various international IT meetings and seminars representing the co.za administrator, such as the WIPO and ICANN.[4]
Mr. Dundas is also an attorney and a previous partner with the law firm Bowman Gilfillan Inc. His is an expert on domain name dispute resolution; and he was the first South African based attorney to make successful use of the ICANN UDRP process, which he did in a case involving NANDOS.COM and SANLAM.COM.[5] He is also an expert on the ADR process.[6]
