Aftab was appointed by APNIC EC to serve as ASO-AC member.in He has been ASO-AC member since January 2014 and his current term will end in December 2016. He has also been associated with SANOG (South Asia Network Operators Group) for many years and part of SANOG Program Committee as Co-Chair.
