ICANN 56 is a forthcoming ICANN Meeting. The meeting was initially scheduled to take place in Panama City, Panama in June 2016, but as a result of an outbreak of the Zika virus in Central America, ICANN announced that the meeting would move to a different country.[1] A search is currently underway to identify an alternative location where the Zika virus is not a concern. ICANN plans on returning to Panama City for a future meeting.
