Chris Disspain is the Vice-Chair of the ICANN Board of Directors. He has served on the board since he was selected by the ccNSO in 2011 and will term out in 2020.

On March 24 2016, AuDA announced that Disspain would be departing from the organization in order to make room for new leadership. [1] From its foundation in June 2004, until he stood down in March 2011, Chris was the Chair of the Country Code Name Supporting Organisation (ccNSO), the body that represents the interests of and sets global policy and best practice for country code top level domains within ICANN.
From 2006 to 2014 Chris was a member of the United Nations Secretary-General's Internet Governance Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group.
