Since January 2016, he has been a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, focusing on climate change-related disputes. Since May 2006, he has been a chairman and party-appointed arbitrator in IP disputes for WIPO. Since December 2016, he has been a visiting lecturer at Leuven University.

He acts as an arbitrator for the National Arbitration Forum, the International Trademark Association, and Cepani.
