Colin Oliver is currently retired from work, although he is doing some international assistance work for the International Telecommunication Union. This work includes a case study of broadband access in Australia, as well as providing universal service policy advice to Tonga. He was recalled briefly to the Department of Communications to assist in preparations for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference.[1]
Past Work[edit | edit source]
In the past he was a member of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group at the Internet Governance Forum, an Assistant Secretary at International Branch at the Department of Broadband, Communications & the Digital Economy, and the Manager of NGN Policy at the Department of Communications, Information Technology & the Arts.[2]

He received his BA from Monash University and his masters degree from University of Delaware in 1973.[3]
