Blend has also served as Demand's Executive Vice President of Platform Business and President of eNom, after promotion in 2008 from Senior Vice President, HotKeys. Michael joined Demand Media in 2006 after they acquired his company, HotKeys, a web technology firm. He founded HotKeys in 2001, and served as its CEO until it was sold; its infrastructure is still being used by Demand. From 2001 to 2003, Blend was Vice President of Corporate Development for Aliph, and from 1999 to 2001, he was the Vice President of Corporate Development at WeddingChannel.com.
