Alyssa is the Sr. Policy & Advocacy Advisor at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), a position she has held since August 2018. She also serves on the steering committee for the Canadian Internet Governance Forum (CIGF), and the Internet Society Canada Chapter (ISCC) Board of Directors. In 2016, Alyssa was elected to serve a three year term on the Advisory Council to the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN). She is involved in both the names and numbers communities of internet governance.

Career History[edit | edit source]

Prior to joining CIRA, Alyssa worked as the Policy Advisor at Cybera, the non-profit research and education network (NREN) in Alberta, Canada.
