Ananya Singh is UNEP and Samsung Engineering, South Korea supported Tunza Eco-Generation's 22nd Regional Ambassador to Afghanistan and 21st Regional Ambassador to India and the Global Peace Chain's Global Peace Ambassador for India. In July 2019, she will be in Vladivostok, Russia as a Fellow for the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF). She was the youngest person and the only female participant from India at NextGen@ICANN64, Kobe, Japan in March, 2019. She was also the mentor for Game Theory & Economics for IIT Bombay's Maths & Physics Club's Summer of Science Programme. She, currently, discharges the roles of the Global Ambassador for the Kosmos Journal (USA), the Alumni Ambassador for the Yale Young Global​ Scholars (Yale University, USA), and she has been a regular contributor to The Huffington Post​, TUNZA Eco-Generation (powered by UNEP & Samsung Engineering), and have​ also​ been a blogger for The SPAN, the official magazine of the US Embassy in India​​ in the past.​ She has also been on board of the editorial team of the Novak Djokovic Foundation (Serbia).​ ​She was awarded a silver prize in the senior category of the International Essay Competition organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society, London, UK, twice, in 2014 & 2016 respectively, on the merit of my submitted entries & as recommended by the jury panel.

Education

At present, Ananya is an undergraduate student majoring in Economics with double minors in Geography and Anthropology at the Utkal University, India. She has keen interests in international economics, development economics, and information economics. She is also the topper and the Secretary of the Economics Department.

In 2016, Ananya had secured Rank-1 in Humanities in class 12 in Odisha Zone-1 in the AISSCE of CBSE, Rank-2 in Humanities the Bhubaneswar City Chapter in the AISSCE of CBSE, and Rank-1/310 in Class-11 Annual examination among all 3 streams- Science, Commerce and Humanities. She was also awarded the Best All-rounder for the session 2013-14 trophy for excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic arenas. She was also awarded CBSE National Merit Certificate for achieving CGPA-10/A1 grade in all 5 Subjects.
