The following names and/or uses for .tz have grounds for cancellation:
* it is identical or confusingly similar to a name whose right is recognised or established by national laws;

* it was registered primarily for the purpose of being sold to the person whose right is legally recognised or established in Tanzania;
* it has been registered for the purpose of preventing its real holder, who is legally recognized or established in Tanzania from reflecting that domain name in a corresponding domain name;
* it was registered primarily for the purpose of disrupting the business of a competitor;
* it was intentionally registered for attracting the Internet or website users for commercial gains by creating a likelihood of confusion with the domain name corresponding to a rightful holder who is legally recognised or established in Tanzania;
