.circle is a gTLD delegated to the Root Zone in ICANN's New gTLD Program on 5 December 2015. Amazon manages the string.[1][2]

Application Details

The following is excerpted from the applicant's response to question #18:

"Applications from Amazon and its subsidiaries for domains in the .CIRCLE registry will be considered by Amazon’s Intellectual Property group and allocated in line with Amazon’s business goals. The .CIRCLE registry will not be promoted by hundreds of registrars simultaneously, so there will not be multiple-applications for a particular domain."[3]
