Omar Kaminski is the President at Instituto Brasileiro de Direito da Informática (IBDI).[1]

Omar is a Lawyer at Kaminski.adv.br. He is also the Legal advisor for Security Incident Response Team at RNP.

Omar is an Alternate Member at the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br).[2]

Omar represents IBDI at the LACRALO.[3]

Omar is a member of the WHOIS Policy Review Team at ICANN and has attended the ICANN Silicon Valley.[4]

Omar has signed a Joint Civil Society Statement Supporting the Proposed Charter for the Non-Commercial Stakeholders Group (NCSG) which was Submitted by the Non-Commercial Users Constituency (NCUC) of ICANN.[5]

Omar has made a presentation on Cybercrimes and the Brazilian Law at the 2nd COLARIS in 2006.[6]
