Franky Schilling is one of the most handful and experienced domain name investors and operators. He lives in the Cayman Islands. Franky Schilling also has his own blog called Domain Name Sales Seven Mile, which he administers since 2007. He was the first one who spoke about at a public television program about domain investing, in 2002. [2]
Current position
Franky Schilling was Managing Director of DNSC (Domain Name Sales Corp). Then of this registrar changed from Domain Name Sales Corp to iRegistry. Still, the website of DNSC still exists.
However, for his own business Franky Schilling decided to do more than just selling domain names: but rather to administrate the portfolios of third-parties using his great skills.
In this way, currently, Franky Schilling is the founder of NAmedia, a business which he founded in 2001 while living in the Cayman Islands. The main services offered by his company are related to:

Franky Schilling and ICANN
DNSC was accredited by ICANN in 2004. Since Franky Schilling was the Managing Director of DNSC, he was obviously in contact with ICANN. Nevertheless, being an outstanding investor and entrepreneur, he will always be a valuable asset of ICANN. [4]

In 2008, a reporter name David Kesmodel from WSJ launched the book entitled "The domain Game" which describes the experiences of Franky Schilling and the evolution of the domain name industry in which he played a very important role. [5]

In the beginning of 2011, Franky Schilling declared that by means of his business NAmedia he was able to gain $7 million dollars from sales of around 250 domains, "without trying to hard". [6]
