Lesley Cowley is the Chief Executive at Nominet UK and the Chair of the ccNSO at ICANN.

Professional Experience and ICANN

Lesley Cowley has been the Chief Executive at Nominet since 2002. Her responsibilities involve leading Nominet and implementing core strategies.[1]

Nominet is the non-profit domain registry for the .uk ccTLD, and acts in the interest of all 3,000+ .uk stakeholders. [2] The company has a long standing commitment to being a leader in Internet governance. As part of this commitment, Lesley Cowley has been a member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organisation at ICANN since 2007, and was appointed its Chair in 2011. [3] Lesley Cowley is also a respected member of various boards, including:

  • Institute of Credit Management
  • Chartered Management Institute
  • Royal Society for Arts
