Ayesha Hassan manages the ICC's policy work on E-Business, IT and Telecoms.[1] She is also the in charge of ICC’s initiative, Business Action to Support the Information Society (BASIS). Ms. Hassan serves on the multistakeholder advisory group for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).[2]

Career History

Ms. Hassan has extensive experience as a Lawyer and specializes in dispute resolution, international policy, and ecommerce issues. She has been the head of the Online Dispute Resolution Services at SquareTrade.[3]

She managed the Coordinating Committee of Business Interlocutors (CCBI).[4] She has served the UN Secretary-General’s Task Force on Financial Mechanisms. She has represented ICC on a number of Occasions and conferences like the G8 Dot Force, the UN Information and Communication Technologies Task Force and other events hosted by the OECD, the WTO, ITU Telecoms and the EU Commission.[5]

She attended the ICANN Silicon Valley.[6]

She was a Faculty member at the Euro-NF Summer School on Socio Economic and Governance Issues.[7]
